A PolyDots cube board with pastel cells and white pillars

Four boards. Four personalities.

Every match is played on the surface of a 3D shape. Drag to rotate it, pinch to zoom. Each shape plays differently:

Tetra board — a pyramid of triangle cells STARTER

TETRA

The smallest board — four triangle faces, fast matches where every move counts. This is where the tutorial starts.

Cube board — six faces of square cells CLASSIC

CUBE

Six square faces, each divided into a grid. Straight rows make chains easy to read — and easy to give away.

Sphere board — a soccer ball of pentagons and hexagons TRICKY

SPHERE

A soccer ball: 12 pentagons and 20 hexagons. Mixed cell shapes break up simple patterns — think all the way around the ball.

Dodeca board — twelve pentagon faces EXPERT

DODECA

Twelve pentagon faces. Five-sided cells mean longer builds before a claim — and bigger swings when a chain breaks open.

How boards grow

Grid growth

The Cube's faces subdivide: 2×2, then 3×3, up to 5×5 per face. Same shape, more cells, longer games.

Sprawl growth

The Tetra and Cube can also grow outward, sprouting new cells into an irregular, lumpy solid. Two growth levels each.

Fixed boards

The Sphere and Dodeca don't grow — their shape is the challenge.

Lock Win matches on a shape to climb its ladder and unlock the next size.

A match in four steps

1

Pick your board

Choose a shape and size, and your opponent — AI with four difficulty tiers, or a real player online.

2

Pick a powerup

Each player picks one powerup — a one-shot boost to fire at the start of one of their turns. Or lock in and play without one.

3

Call the coin toss

Winner takes the first turn.

4

Claim cells

Take turns placing pillars in the gaps between dots. Place the last pillar a cell needs and it's claimed in your colour.

Claim a cell and you immediately go again — chain claims together for big turns. When the board is full, most cells wins.

The powerups

One per match, one shot each. Timing it right is half the game.

Time Reverse — a rewind arrow circling three dots

TIME REVERSE

Rewind the last 1–3 moves. Points they scored are removed.

Clear Line — pillars swept from a line

CLEAR LINE

Pick a row or column: its pillars clear and the cells reopen. Points already scored are kept.

Grid Control — locked grid slots

GRID CONTROL

Lock open slots as your own pillars (up to one less than a cell needs). Locking is your whole turn.

Shard crystal Powerups are earned in the game — through the season road, daily rewards, and task books — or bought with Shards, the in-game currency you earn by playing.
